A Dialogue with Literature and Art

AdHoram emerged from a conversation with art and literature. Across centuries, artists and writers have sought to give form to the experiences that shape our lives — moments of change and discovery, devotion, uncertainty and renewal — creating works that continue to resonate long after their stories were first told.

From these reflections emerges an exchange between lived experience and creative expression, shaped by philosophy, arts and narrative.

Rather than illustrating these works, the design draws from the experiences at their core, translating them into symbolic and sculptural forms.

Formed slowly by hand in Italy, each object becomes a quiet presence within the moments that shape us.

Origins

I'm Vero Evans, founder of AdHoram. I grew up in Italy, where classical studies shaped my earliest way of seeing the world. At the Liceo Classico and later in Lettere e Filosofia at the University of Turin, I immersed myself in history, philosophy, art, and literature — disciplines that nurtured her creativity and my instinct for pause and reflection.

My career later carried me far from home, across countries and cultures, opening my life to new perspectives, encounters, and ways of seeing, while gradually drawing her away from the disciplines that had first formed my gaze. Yet the spaces I sought continued to appear unexpectedly — in the quiet of an artisan’s workshop, before an architectural detail shaped by time, in galleries and places of thought, in bookshops holding rare editions, or in the silent rhythms of nature. In such moments, time seemed to widen, and reflection could deepen.

After many years, I returned to Italy carrying friendships, memories, and the traces of a life lived elsewhere. It was time to reconnect — with place, with thought, with rhythm, and a dialogue on time began.

From that dialogue, AdHoram was born.
