Every purchase on www.adhoram.com is a meeting between creation and desire, between the time of the one who chooses and the one who creates.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern the purchase of jewellery and accessories under the AdHoram® brand, owned by AdHoram Srls, with registered office at Viale Cortina d’Ampezzo 221, 00135 Rome (Italy), VAT no. 18265291007, e-mail: info@adhoram.com (“Seller”).
By placing an order, the Client fully accepts these Terms.
1. Object of the Contract
These Terms govern the distance sale of AdHoram products, in accordance with Legislative Decree 70/2003 and the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).
The contract is considered concluded when the Client receives an order confirmation by e-mail, containing the summary of the products, prices, and details of payment and delivery.
2. Prices, Currency and Payments
All prices are expressed in euros (EUR) and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.
To offer a smoother experience, the website may display prices in other currencies. These values are indicative only, based on current exchange rates. The binding price is the one shown at the time of payment.
Any shipping costs will be clearly communicated before the order confirmation.
Payments may be made via Shopify Payments, credit or debit card, PayPal, or other secure methods indicated on the website.
Payment data are processed through encrypted and secure channels. AdHoram does not store card details.
3. Availability, Limited Production and Made-to-Order Pieces
Each AdHoram jewel is born in limited series, with the slowness and care that creative time requires. We produce in small quantities to honour materials, craftsmanship, and sustainability.
Because each piece is produced in limited quantities, orders including more than one piece of the same design may require additional production time. If you wish to purchase multiple pieces of the same design — for gifts, special occasions or collaborations — please write to info@adhoram.com. We will gladly verify availability or arrange a dedicated production.
Some jewels are made to order. The average crafting time is 2–3 weeks before shipping. During busier periods or for more complex designs, production may take slightly longer.
4. Shipping
Each AdHoram creation is prepared with care and attention, ready to begin its journey towards you.
Orders are shipped within 1–2 working days (allow approx. 2 weeks for orders that include made-to-order pieces).
Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on the destination.
We entrust DHL Express to ensure fast, safe and traceable delivery.
Once your order has been collected by the courier, you will receive a tracking notification to follow your jewel’s journey.
We always do our best to respect estimated delivery times, yet AdHoram cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third parties, customs procedures, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.
We do not ship to P.O. boxes, and an adult signature (minimum 18 years old) will be required upon delivery.
5. Shipping and Customs Duties
Italy and European Union
We offer free express and insured shipping for all orders destined for Italy and EU countries.
United Kingdom and United States
Express shipping UK: €20
Express shipping USA: €30
AdHoram covers all import duties and taxes for orders shipped to the United Kingdom and the United States.
If you receive a request for payment of such duties or taxes from the courier or customs authorities, please contact us immediately at care@adhoram.com — no payment is required from you.
Rest of the World
Express and shipping: €35
Import duties and taxes applied in the destination country remain the responsibility of the client.
Customs Duties and Import Taxes
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties or import taxes, depending on the destination country.
AdHoram fully covers these costs for United Kingdom and United States orders.
For all other destinations, such charges remain the responsibility of the client.
Customs clearance procedures may occasionally cause delays beyond our control, as checks are conducted by local authorities.
If a shipment is refused or not collected due to unpaid customs duties or taxes, any costs incurred by AdHoram — including return shipping, import duties, taxes, and handling fees — will be deducted from the refund.
6. Made-to-Order Creations
Some AdHoram jewels are made exclusively upon request.
These creations are typically shipped within 2–3 weeks from the order date.
During periods of higher demand or for intricate designs, production times may extend slightly.
7. Engravings
For jewels personalised with engraving, please allow approximately 10 working days before dispatch.
Each engraving is performed by hand, requiring the patience and precision your piece deserves.
8. Returns and Exchanges
At AdHoram, every jewel is created with intention and care, and we hope it will accompany you on your journey — carrying with it what you love through time.
Our return process is designed to remain clear, transparent, and fair, should you ever need it.
Requests made after this period may be refused or issued as store credit.
To initiate a return or exchange, please contact care@adhoram.com indicating your order number and the item(s) concerned. All returns must be requested and approved in advance.
For logistical and quality control reasons, all return shipments must be arranged through AdHoram. Clients should not ship items independently.
Once approved, AdHoram will arrange the courier collection and provide shipping instructions. The jewel may be returned directly to our studio or to our artisanal goldsmith atelier for verification.
Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the client, including any applicable shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, or clearance charges.
Items must be returned intact, unworn, and unaltered, in their original packaging, including boxes, tags, and accessories.
If your piece includes a security tag, it must remain attached and intact. Removal of the tag confirms the jewel has been accepted and the return will no longer be eligible.
Items showing signs of wear, alteration, or missing packaging may be refused.
Once the returned jewel has been received and verified, AdHoram will arrange the refund within 14 days, using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
The refund corresponds to the price paid for the returned item. Any shipping costs originally paid by the client are non-refundable, and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
If a jewel presents a confirmed manufacturing defect, AdHoram will arrange a solution and cover the return shipping costs.
Returns cannot be accepted for made-to-order, personalised, or engraved jewellery.
AdHoram reserves the right to decline returns that do not comply with this policy.
9. Quality Control, Craftsmanship and Conformity Defects
Every AdHoram creation is born from human hands and time that moves slowly.
Each jewel is inspected, refined, and carefully prepared before being packaged for its journey.
Because every piece is handmade, no two jewels are identical.
Slight variations in surface, colour, or texture are natural and part of the artistic expression of the piece. These characteristics are not considered defects.
If you believe your jewel has a manufacturing fault, please contact care@adhoram.com with photographs and a description of the issue.
If confirmed, AdHoram will repair, replace, or refund the piece, covering all associated shipping costs.
10. Care and Limitation of Liability
Each AdHoram jewel is a delicate balance of metal, time, and light.
Our pieces are designed to be worn and lived with, and over time they may naturally evolve in tone and surface as they accompany you through daily life.
To preserve their beauty, we recommend treating your jewellery with care. Avoid contact with salt water, chlorine, perfumes, cosmetics, cleaning agents, and other chemical substances, as these may alter the finish or accelerate wear. It is also advisable to remove jewellery before swimming, showering, exercising, or engaging in activities that may expose the piece to friction or impact.
When not worn, we recommend storing your jewel in its original box or a soft pouch to protect it from scratches, humidity, and oxidation. Gently wiping the piece with a soft cloth after wearing can help maintain its appearance over time.
Some AdHoram pieces feature intentionally textured, organically worn, or irregular surfaces. These characteristics are part of the artistic language of the brand and reflect the handcrafted nature of each object. Slight variations, surface marks, or subtle changes over time should therefore be appreciated as part of the life of the jewel and do not constitute defects.
If a jewel requires maintenance, restoration, or replating, AdHoram may offer assistance through its studio or artisanal goldsmith atelier. Clients are welcome to contact care@adhoram.com to enquire about possible services and related costs.
Except where required by applicable law, AdHoram shall not be held liable for damage resulting from improper use, lack of care, normal wear and tear, accidents, or exposure to substances or conditions that may affect the material. AdHoram shall also not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its products.
11. Intellectual Property
The AdHoram® trademark, logos, texts, images, and product designs are the exclusive property of AdHoram Srls.
Any reproduction or use without written authorization is strictly prohibited.
12. Data Protection
Personal data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy available on the website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law.
For disputes with consumers residing in Italy, jurisdiction lies with the consumer’s place of residence.
In all other cases, jurisdiction shall be Rome (Italy).
14. Changes to the Terms
AdHoram may update these Terms periodically.
Changes will apply to orders placed after their publication on the website.

16. Fraud Prevention and Payment Verification
To ensure secure transactions, AdHoram reserves the right to carry out verification checks before processing an order.
This may include requesting additional information to confirm the identity of the purchaser or the legitimacy of the payment method used.
AdHoram reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders suspected of fraudulent activity.
In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, AdHoram may provide all relevant transaction records, delivery confirmations, and communication history to the payment provider or issuing bank to demonstrate the validity of the transaction.
