Pause and Dialogue

Each AdHoram piece begins with a pause.

A moment of reflection on time itself — its different rhythms, its shifting perceptions, the ways it stretches, returns, or quietly reshapes experience. It is almost a form of meditation.

From there, a dialogue begins with artists, poets, and writers who have also tried to capture these moments through language, gesture, or image. The study seeks the essence of those reflections and the way they may be translated into form.

Sketch and Form

The process begins at the table, with pencil and paper.

Lines are drawn, repeated, and refined — searching for the gesture that can carry the idea into form. Through sketching, the initial reflection begins to take shape.

A course in wax modelling she attended in Rome brought her closer to the technique, allowing form to be explored in volume and balance.

Each piece is cast using the traditional lost-wax technique, and shaped in metal by Italian goldsmiths, allowing the form to emerge with precision and care.
